Laura Maxwell has the perfect background for the demands of account executive duties at Spiro & Associates. She makes things happen for all things client-related — from planning, organizing and coordinating, to social media duties and other ad agency fun stuff.

Laura has boldly gone where many will never dare: She was a preschool teacher. Secondly, and equally important for us foodies, her professional on-the-job experience includes work in the restaurant industry. Which means she can put up with the shenanigans that break out around here from time to time, while fitting in nicely with those of us who spend a keen amount of time and energy enjoying local eateries.

Laura was born and raised in Fort Myers and graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies Degree (Laura tells us that people with a liberal studies degree couldn't decide what they wanted to be when they grew up). She taught at Good Samaritan Learning Center in Orlando for three years and was in the trenches at Carrabba's for a decade. Laura moved from The Land of Mickey back to Southwest Florida in 2011, and is excited about her new career here.
